Roman Nuts Ruins

A pre-roman site also known as a settlement can be found up in the mountains of the Metn region, with a good view on Sannine mountain and Baskinta. The site’s name -nuts ruins- comes from the old nut trees that are still overlooking the site. The remaining sarcophagus are the site’s main highlights. An asphalt road has been paved in the middle of the site leading to the loss of the site’s structure and invaluable remains. Some illicit activities have taken place and are still taking place by thieves looking for unclaimed treasures. I don’t know why Roman is added to the name because I didn’t see anything related to the Roman era or architecture.
