WET HIKING DESCRIPTION:

Isolated and a little away from “progress”, the village of Akkar has, luckily, kept all its authenticity. The ideal place to discover to live closer to nature and ancient Lebanese traditions.
The Akkar, if it has been forgotten by all, including locals, is home to an incredible number of archaeological sites, magnificent natural sites, rare exceptional forests, a great diversity of population and old traditions. still alive.
HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous.

Akkar is a wonderful place for hiking; our hike will be divided into 2 levels:

LEVEL 4 (approx.5 km) is downhill and straight beautiful trail. Will start from the main road and ends at the Bridge. We will experience the fascinating Lebanese wild nature with its colorful trees and herbs, chirping birds, fresh breeze, and rushing water. The scenery is really beyond description, there the Hidden Gems & Waterfalls. We will have enough time for meditation, swimming, photo shooting and fun. No need to know how to swim in this trip.
We will have lunch together beside the river, rest a bit, and then continue to the bus.
Level 5 (approx.7 km) The extra part of that trail is Uphill and Downhill at the Beginning. Be careful, you will get wet, make sure you have extra pair of shoes and extra clothes with you when you join us in this trip.

Whitewater is an outdoor sport that seduces nature-oriented people as well as seekers of the ultimate.!
