We are proud to organize his Stargazing and Sunset event at one of the most enchanting locations in Lebanon: ‘’ Jord Akkar’’ You will be a part of an unforgettable experience for this season. Yes, you will have the chance to explore the outdoor life and challenge yourself out of your comfort zone.

Is located in a very strategic and vital location being the last part of the Donnieh district and the gate of the Akkar district from the Bekaa governorate.
You are going to discover a mountainous landscape, beautiful forests, can you believe it!? And only 1 hour from Tripoli!

CAMP LOCATION :

Jord Akkar /Akkar/ North Lebanon,
1950 meters above sea level, 40 km from Tripoli.

FEES:

1) 38$ / person for the whole weekend, including, accommodation with Tent, Campfire, Stargazing, Sunset hike, Hiking and Transport (comfortable air-conditioned Pullman), professional guides, 5 minutes of warming up, stretching and pictures.
Children 12 years old and younger will have a discount of 5%. (36 $ /person)
Make your group of 5 persons (& more) and get a 5% discount (36 $ /person).
30$ / person for the whole weekend, including, accommodation (Need to bring your private tent), Campfire, Stargazing, Sunset hike, Hiking and Transport (comfortable air-conditioned Pullman), professional guides, 5 minutes of warming up, stretching and pictures. Day 1 Saturday: ‘’ JORD AKKAR’’.
Located in the Akkar district, Jord Akkar facing the Jabal El Arbaiine area is one of the highest mountains in the area, at an elevation of 1950 meters. This sunset offers a marvelous valley and mountain views overlooking Sfire, Jord El-Njas and Ammouaa mountains, the raw beauty and rich vegetation of this area make it a favorite spot for sunset lovers.
Jord Akkar is combined with different forests, like junipers, hairy oaks, cypresses, cedars, and cilician firs , lies in a splendidly beautiful area, and its one of the largest junipers forests in North Lebanon.

At an elevation of 1950 meters above sea level, our sunset view will be at the campsite, where a bonfire and dinner setup (grilled potatoes, corn, homemade mankoushe, salad and boiled tea) await. With the Mesmerizing Stars above, we will spend a wonderful night. Together we will leave our home planet, and launch into an adventure taking us from our neighboring planets to far reaches of the Universe.

We will enjoy a cozy atmosphere around the bonfire with live music performed by talented people who will amaze us by acoustic vocal, sing along with them and enjoy the night under millions of stars with friends, families and our beloved ones. For all musician’s lovers they can join us with their musical instrument.

Day 2 Sunday: “Hiking” Ghabet El-Elle!!! “غابة القلة”
The next day we will wake up to a traditional breakfast, before getting ready for our next adventure where will be hiking to the forests of Juniper and Cedars, where unforgettable pictures can be taken.

HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous.
Level 4, mostly it’s easy and pleasant trail, it’s just amazing walking between different forests. The stunning mountainous landscape, with cedars seemingly defying gravity and growing on extremely vertical slopes, is impressive. You will also be able to see rare flowers particular to this high-altitude terrain.
We’ll enjoy the area before moving to the pick-up point, where the bus will be waiting. This trip will include several short breaks to appreciate the surrounding beauty.

On our way back to Beirut, we may stop in Batroun to drink fresh Lemonade.

WHAT TO TAKE:

Healthy snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruit, a flashlight, water, a cap, sunglasses and toilet essentials with Sleeping bag-pillow for camping. Wear comfortable walking shoes (A professional brand is recommended) and don’t forget to get a light jacket. DC members get a 20% discount on sports equipment in Sports 4 Ever branches.
The project welcoming us after the sunset hike is equipped with Kitchen, two bathrooms and a shower, so you don’t have to worry about anything.
