It’s Springtime!! and what better time to go hiking, and explore Lebanon’s amazing mountains, golden flowery scenery, waterfalls, and sparkling Lakes!! The magnificent green forest mixed with oak, cedars, and many other plant species makes the trail one of the most beautiful hikes that will leave wonderful pictures in your memory, especially during this season.

20 $ including 🚌 transport (comfortable air-conditioned Pullman), professional guides, coffee, energetic snack, 5 minutes of warming up, stretching, and pictures.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

This time we are going for a new beautiful hike, to the stunning Mountains at Hammana village.
We will experience the fascinating Lebanese wild nature with its colorful trees and herbs, chirping birds, fresh breeze and rushing water.
The 19th-century French poet, novelist, and statesman Alphonse De Lamartine visited Lebanon and spent some time in Hammana. He described the town and its surrounding valley as “one of the most beautiful prospects ever presented to the human eye to scan in the works of God”.
The hike will take place near the waterfalls and in one point it upper a water channel. We will have many reasons to keep our cameras handy, there will be scenes to cherish forever. Chaghour Hammana is the hidden gems.

🌿🥾 HIKING LEVELS: 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous.

Our hike will be divided into 2 levels:

🥈 Level 4 (5 Km approx. 3:00Hr) We will start at Main road, there the view still dominates the scene, giving a view over the astounding gorge, the trail will lead us to a wonderful hidden waterfall and there we can take as many of photos as we desire and after towards the bus. Then will go by bus and will join the group at the cedars forest.

🥈 Level 5 (8 Km approx. 4:00Hr) will continue to walk a bit uphill until will reach the upper cliff cedars forest. Stunning panoramic views of La Martine valley can be enjoyed from up there. That part of the trail offers many scenic spots and adventure.

WHAT TO TAKE:

Healthy snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, lunch, water, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen. Wear comfortable walking shoes (A professional brand is recommended) and don’t forget to get a light jacket. DC members get a 20% discount on sports equipment in Sports 4 Ever branches.
