It’s an amazing way to exercise and relieve your stress; you will reconnect with nature and the Universe!!!

We are proud to organize his Stargazing and Caving event at one of the most enchanting locations in Lebanon: ‘’ The 3 Farmers’’ You will be a part of an unforgettable experience for this season. Yes, you will have the chance to explore the outdoor life and challenge yourself out of your comfort zone.

Majdal tarchich Is located in a very strategic and vital location being the last village of the Metn district and the gate of the Metn district from the Bekaa governorate.
You are going to discover a mountainous landscape, beautiful rock formation, a cave of Howet El Dara and French military remains (tranches & fortifications) from World War 2, all in one place. Can you believe it!? And only 1 hour from Beirut!

CAMP LOCATION:

Majdal Tarchich /Metn Districts/ Mount Lebanon, 1700 meters above sea level, 40 km from Beirut.

FEES:

1) 58$ / person for the whole weekend, including, accommodation with Tent, campfire, Stargazing, Caving, homemade breakfast, hiking and transport (comfortable air-conditioned Pullman), professional guides, helmets, torches, necessary equipment for caving, 5 minutes of warming up, stretching and pictures.
Children 18 years old and younger will have a discount of 10%. (53 $ /person)

Sunset, Live Music, Stargazing, Caving and Camping

Day 1 Saturday: ‘’ The 3 Farmers’’ Majdal Tarchich.
Located in the Baabda district, Tarshish facing the Zaarour area is one of the highest cities in the area, starting from Jean Paul Monastery at an elevation of 1750 meters. This sunset hike offers a marvelous valley view overlooking channel 11 and Zaarour mountains, passing by Daher El Mtein and Baloue Majdel Tarshish and Howet El Dara, the raw beauty and rich vegetation of this area make it a favorite spot for sunset lovers.

Hiking Level: Around 10 KM – 3.0 Hours approx.) is an easy and pleasing trail.
At an elevation of 1750 meters above sea level, our hike will begin at “Deir Jean Paul Tarshish, we will hike across the Daher El Mtein mountain through marvelous nature and lakes, where we will overlook Wadi El Amin, hiking up a dirt road to reach Howet El Dara and explore the small cave and the balou3 of the Howet, the deepest cave in Lebanon, after we hike to check the Old Frensh military bunkers that were built by the Frensh Army in World War 2 in 1945.

Following a different trail, we’ll embark on a hike to another viewpoint and campsite where a bonfire and dinner setup (grilled potatoes, corn, homemade mankoushe, salad and boiled tea) await. With the Mesmerizing Stars above, we will spend a wonderful night. Together we will leave our home planet, and launch into an adventure taking us from our neighboring planets to far reaches of the Universe.

We will enjoy a cozy atmosphere around the bonfire with live music performed by talented people who will amaze us by acoustic vocal, sing along with them and enjoy the night under millions of stars with friends, families and our beloved ones. For all musician’s lovers they can join us with their musical instrument.
Those who chooses the Sunset and Stargazing event only, will return to Beirut.

Day 2 Sunday: “Caving” the deepest cave!!! “هوة الدارا”
The next day we will wake up to a traditional breakfast, before getting ready for our next adventure where will be hiking to the cave of Howet El Dara, the deepest cave in Lebanon, where cold water and marvelous scenery awaits us and we will reach the bottom of the Howet El Dara, where unforgettable pictures can be taken.

All the necessary equipment will be provided: helmets, torches or spotlights, etc.
We’ll enjoy the area before moving to the pick-up point, where the bus will be waiting. This trip will include several short breaks to appreciate the surrounding beauty.
Join us for an unforgettable adventure filled with breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and memorable moments.

WHAT TO TAKE:

Healthy snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruit, a flashlight, water, a cap, sunglasses and toilet essentials with Sleeping bag-pillow for camping. The project welcoming us after the sunset hike is equipped with Kitchen, two bathrooms and a shower, so you don’t have to worry about anything.
