It’s summer time!! and what better time to go hiking, and explore 🔭Lebanon’s amazing mountains, golden flowery scenery, waterfalls, jungles and sparkling lakes!! The magnificent golden forest mixed with oak, pine, and many other plant species makes the trail one of the most beautiful hikes that will leave wonderful pictures in your memory, especially during this season.

📜 DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

This time we are going for a new beautiful hike, to the stunning ⛰Mountains at Baskinta and Baatouta village.
We will experience the fascinating Lebanese wild nature with its colorful trees and herbs, chirping birds, fresh breeze and rushing water.

Bqaatouta It is home for the Sannine bottled water company. The village is surrounded by the highest peaks of Metn and Keserwan and lies at the sources of the dog river (Nahr el Kalb) separating the two casas. Bqaatouta falls is the 🏺 hidden gems.
This loop trail between section 13 of Lebanon Mountain Trail and Baatouta waterfalls Trail.
During the pleasant🚶 hike, we will pass by green landscape and some parts muddy path, artificial lakes, ponds, streams, springs, golden forests, caves man, waterfalls, wooden and steel bridges, ladders, ruins, ⚱️Phoenician tombs, Etc, Diversified…? Yes! We will encounter a lot of things in this hike!

🌿🥾 HIKING LEVELS: 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous.
🥈 Level 5 (7 Km approx. 3:30Hr) We will start from the stone bridge, once we reach the Watermill, the trail is uphill with green ladders and steel bridges passages and will lead us to a wonderful ⛰narrow cliff passage formation and there we can take as many of 📷 photos as we desire, then to Assi River where one of the most beautiful waterfalls ‘’Shallalat El-Assi” in Lebanon exist. Then downhill to the bus, that part of the trail offers many scenic spots and adventure.

Healthy snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, lunch, water, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen. Wear comfortable walking shoes (A professional brand is recommended) and don’t forget to get a light jacket. DC members get a 20% discount on sports equipment in Sports 4 Ever branches.
