DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

Prepare yourself for an amazing and wonderful trail in the West Bekaa district. At this time of the year, the color of trees and plants, the winter with the swamp are Extremely Impressive.
So, this hike in Ammiq is diversified. You get to walk in the swamp and after along the edge of mountains where many trees’ species provide shade and shelter.
Our visit will begin from the entrance in Ammiq Wetland where a warm and friendly greeting from the reserve team, accompanied by a presentation of the reserve.
HIKING LEVEL: 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous
Level 4 (8 km approx.) will start from the swamp, it has a watching tower to observe migrating birds.; making a walk inside the wetland and then will take an uphill path for about 100 meters to reach the top of the mountain. You will get the feeling of being on top of the world! The path will continue straight to reach the hill overlooking Bekaa valley, then a pine forest, the old broken-down village of ancient Ammiq, old churches and a farm. The church is the most ancient part. Bring your cameras with you; you will definitely use them. We will cross by many water sources where the water drops create a unique sort of music. Lunch will be in the vicinity.
Level 6 will start from the swamp of Ammik, pass through three water sources, a 1300-year-old tree called “shajaret el set”, nabeh saalouk, Ain Abed, Ain el tain, and finally meet with level 4 for lunch. After lunch will continue in a stretch beautiful trail to Aana village. The total distance is (around 14 km); we will only take short rests. We promise you spectacular views and great scenery.

Cover your nose and mouth with your face masks. To keep it on, while we are on the bus.
Clean your hands often by using hand gel or other.
