📜 DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

The nature of the region from downstream the hill we are going to see; the hill of “Saint Charbel”, located at an altitude of 1950 m above sea level. A big statue of St. Charbel stands there overlooking the area.
It will be the perfect place for hiking, will be a moderate one with some downhill, will walk around the borders of the cliff; will have enough time for fun, photo shooting, and rest.
We will walk right underneath the Chabrouh cliff ‘Chir en nsour’, on a trail prepared by LMT association to reach the giant waterfall.
🌿🥾 HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous
Our hike will be divided into 2 levels:
🥈 We will walk around 11 Km as level 5, for just 3,45 hours, will start at Monastery of the resurrection, it will lead us to a wonderful natural rock carved by water millions of years ago and there you can take as many of photos as you desire then to the impressive cliff and the great waterfall ho still dominate the scene, giving a view over the astounding gorge. This Level include Wadi El Salib Trail.
🥇 Level 4 (8 Km approx.); the walk is moderate and the trail (Wadi el Salib) in general, is descendant. It will lead us to a wonderful old bridge of rocks. There, you can take as many photos as you desire but don’t consume all your memory cards capacity because you will definitely take more photos a few meters later. The second part of the trail is open to the sunlight therefore, keep your sunglasses and hats on.
