Ammiq Wetland offers an easy-to-moderate, 8-10 km hike through Lebanon’s largest remaining freshwater wetland, located 55 km from Beirut in the West Bekaa. Open year-round (best in spring), the trails feature migratory birds, water buffaloes, and ancient trees. The area is ideal for birdwatching, photography, and nature walks.
