Hiking from Douma to laqlouq

Join us for a breathtaking adventure through the dramatic landscapes connecting the Batroun and Byblos highlands. We will journey from the village of Douma to the serene lakes of Laqlouq, on a trail marked by a 1000 m elevation gain.
Our trek begins at Jabal Feghre in Douma. The trail will first lead us to Balouh Baatara, a natural masterpiece where a waterfall plunges through three spectacular bridges into a cavern deep below. Then we will join a section of the LMT, which will guide our ascent toward Laqlouq. As we climb, we’ll be rewarded with ever-expanding panoramic views of the rugged mountains. Our path culminates at Saydet al Qaren before we continue to the tranquil lakes to conclude our journey. ⛰️
