20 $ including 🚌 transport (comfortable air-conditioned Pullman), professional guides, wine Tasting, 5 minutes of warming up, stretching, and pictures.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

Majdel Meouch is a picturesque village nestled in the Chouf District of Mount Lebanon. Offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. The village’s name, derived from Aramaic and Syriac origins, translates to “The Tower of Salvation,” hinting at its historical significance as a place of refuge and spiritual importance.

In the rich history of Majdel Meouch, two eminent Maronite Patriarchs, Patriarch Douaihy and Patriarch Makhlouf, left an indelible mark on the spiritual and cultural landscape of the village.

This time we are going for a sunset 🥾hike while enjoying the fresh air and 🔭 watching the beautiful spring sunset in the Chouf area. So, don’t miss the opportunity to contemplate the sky and the nature of the region from the top hill, where we are going to be.
We will hike together in one group along a down easy path for just 2.5 hours.

We will start the hike from the top hill of Majed El Meouch, one of the most spectacular villages of Mount Lebanon, and on the way will visit Chateau Florentine. It is one of the rare terroir wines produced in Lebanon. The quality is the wine guaranteed by traditional winemaking methods used manual harvesting. Beyond the barrels is a unique taste and a surreal experience. Later a walk to the St. Maroun Monastery located on the steep cliff overlooking the valley is a must to see.

We get to walk Darb Beirut along the mountain cliff overlooking the spectacular simultaneous 🌫 sea and mountain and reach breathtaking views exposed to the Sun.
We will end this night’s adventure with a cozy gathering around a welcoming 🔥 campfire, to take a boiling tea and roasted potatoes by local villagers.

WHAT TO TAKE:
